Nicky Ackerley

Nicky completed a Business Studies Degree, and Ipd qualification and subsequently pursued a career in Human Resources.

Nicky’s career began in the Food Industry, where team growth and development was intrinsic to the People strategy supporting the growth and development and profitability of the Business. Subsequently an international role in the SemiConductor Industry developed a knowledge of downsizing and restructure, acquisition and merger activity.

In 1999 Nicky established and subsequently has run HR Support Consultancy with a team of dedicated HR professionals, providing practical hands on support to many organisations, from multi national concerns to small privately owned managed businesses. Advice is provide on all matters relating to people management; including employment law, redundancy, outplacement, business merger and acquisition, TUPE transfer, Immigration, recruitment and selection, performance management, disciplinary, grievance , investigations, and development of policies, procedure, compromise agreements and contracts.
